Peec AI is an AI search visibility tool. You give it the prompts your buyers might ask, and it tracks how ChatGPT and other AI engines answer them: whether your brand is mentioned, which sources get cited, and how that changes over time. It also includes crawler analytics, built from your server or CDN logs.
This review covers what Peec AI does, Peec AI pricing plan by plan, the limits worth knowing before you buy, and who it fits. Every Peec fact here comes from its public pricing page and documentation, checked Oct 14, 2026. We make a product in a neighboring category, so we've kept to what Peec publishes and said where our tool differs.

What a prompt costs
Prompts are the main unit, so it helps to divide the price by them. On a monthly plan:
- Starter: about $1.90 per tracked prompt per month.
- Pro: about $1.63 per tracked prompt per month.
- Advanced: about $1.41 per tracked prompt per month.
The per-prompt cost drops as you move up, and higher plans add projects (useful for agencies or multiple brands) and bot-visit volume. Start by listing the prompts you actually care about. If the list fits in 50, Starter is enough to learn whether the data changes your decisions.
What Peec AI does
Prompt and citation tracking
This is Peec AI's core. You add prompts, the questions a buyer might ask an AI, and Peec runs them daily across the AI models on your plan. For each answer it records whether you're mentioned and which sources were cited. Over time, that shows trends: which prompts you win, which competitors appear instead, and which third-party pages AI keeps citing.
Prompt tracking is the closest thing AI search has to a rank tracker. It's most useful when your prompts mirror real buying questions, and less useful as a single "visibility score" taken out of context.
Crawler analytics
Peec AI's crawler analytics show which AI bots visit your site, by page and by bot, with status codes per URL. Bots are grouped by type: Training, Search, User Query, Other.
Data comes from your logs. Supported sources listed in the docs: CloudFront, Google Cloud CDN, Cloudflare, Vercel, WordPress, Akamai, a webhook, or CSV/CLF upload.
Crawlability checks
Peec AI also offers a crawlability check covering 40+ bots, which reports errors and robots.txt blocks for AI crawlers. See their crawlability docs for the details.
Limits worth knowing
Two limits are stated in Peec AI's docs:
- Bot-visit caps. Each plan includes a monthly number of analysed bot visits (4.5M–31.5M). Once the monthly limit is hit, new data isn't stored until the next month. If you run a large site, compare your real AI crawler volume with the plan before you choose.
- Cloudflare free-plan Workers. If you collect logs through a Worker on Cloudflare's free plan, that Worker is capped at 100k requests a day.
And a few things we couldn't find described in their public docs (checked Oct 14, 2026). That doesn't mean they don't exist, only that they're not documented:
- Verifying that a bot is real by its IP address or reverse DNS.
- Seeing the content each bot was served, not just the status code.
- Rendering pages for bots when a site builds its pages with JavaScript.
The second point matters more than it sounds. Logs record each request and its status code. If your site renders in the browser, an AI crawler can get a 200 status and a blank page, and the log looks perfectly healthy. A free scan shows what AI crawlers actually receive from your pages.
Who Peec AI is for
A good fit if:
- You want to know what ChatGPT and other AI engines say about your brand, across a defined set of prompts.
- You compare yourself with named competitors and want to see who gets cited instead of you.
- Your site is already server-rendered, so a 200 in the logs reliably means the bot got real content.
- You run several brands or clients and want projects and unlimited users.
Look further if:
- Your site is a client-side app (React, Lovable, Replit, Bolt.new, Base44) and you suspect AI crawlers see a blank page.
- You need to know whether a visit from "GPTBot" was really OpenAI.
- You want the crawler side fixed, not only reported.
Peec AI vs HadoSEO
The two overlap on AI crawler analytics and differ everywhere else.
Peec AI starts from the answer: what AI says about you across tracked prompts. Its crawler analytics come from logs.
HadoSEO starts from the request. It sits in front of your site on the DNS setup, so it sees what each bot actually received, checks every bot against its operator's published IP ranges and reverse DNS (spoofed bots are flagged), and serves a rendered copy when a page would otherwise be blank. Server-rendered sites can use a Cloudflare Worker for the analytics instead. HadoSEO doesn't track prompts across AI engines. Its AI visibility tracking combines Search Console data with answer fetches and visits from AI, measured from real requests.
On price, HadoSEO runs Starter $19, Pro $49, Growth $89, Agency $149 per month with a 7-day free trial. Peec AI includes far more bot visits per plan (4.5M–31.5M vs HadoSEO's 100k to 5M), because the products are built around different jobs.
Plenty of teams would use both: Peec AI to see what AI says, HadoSEO to make sure AI could read the pages in the first place. For a row-by-row comparison with sources, see HadoSEO vs Peec AI. If you're new to the topic, our guide to LLM SEO covers the groundwork either tool measures.
Verdict
Peec AI is a focused prompt-tracking tool with crawler analytics included from its first plan. Its pricing is public and easy to reason about, with prompts as the main unit and unlimited users on every self-serve plan. The main questions before buying are whether 50 prompts cover what you need to track, whether your AI crawler volume fits the plan's bot-visit cap, and whether your pages are readable by AI crawlers at all. If that last one is in doubt, check it first. Tracking answers for pages AI can't read will mostly tell you that you're missing.
